It is a set of three artifacts which were found together: a ceramic pot, a tube of copper, and a rod of iron.
Now in Iraq Museum (There were 12 pots before nearly half were stolen in 2003 C.E.)
They were founded in 1938 C.E.
Mythbusters, the television show, recreated them and found that they were able to hold a charge and electroplate quite effectively. However, just because something could have been done, doesn’t mean it was done.
It was hypothesized based on the various components, that they were a type of battery, possibly used to electroplate metals.
